Jim was a Good man and great athlete. Not always good with his timing. Like at one of our class reunions as I was about to introduce him to my wife, Patty, he asked me ";Whatever happened with that nurse from San Francisco?" That was not my wife. I'm sure she was happy that he brought her up. Miss you ,you knucklehead.

For a while Jim and I crossed paths on our runs a number of years ago. We would run a mile or so together and then go our own way after talking the whole time.

I'll never forget how gracious he was. He slowed down for me so I could stay with him.

He was smart talented, had a smile that was truly infectious and gone too soon.
