George was one of the kindest guys I ever knew. We were in grade school together at St. Pat's. While in the choir ( yes, I was in the choir), George and I sang the loudest. To the chagrin of our choir director. Of course, George was the better singer.

“Pitter-Patter” was indeed a genuine and kind soul. He played hoops at St. Pats and was a manager at Aquinas. We played many rounds of golf together, and lots of cards on the school bus. He never got mad or upset with others, he was so understanding and such a good listener. The world was a better place when George was with us. I miss him!
