Cripes! So sorry for her family. I never really remember much about Karen. What I do remember was for Homecoming(Freshman year??) everyone got "assigned" to a location to build the float. Karen's house near La Crosse St. was ours. We worked hard on it. I also remember Molly McMahon's house was another. I remember working at both places, maybe because there were more people I knew at Molly's place off Cass St. Anyway another classmate and Child of God has passed. God's Peace Karen!
So sad to read this post about Karen. She was so much fun! I fondly remember attending a sleep over and many birthday parties at her house in grade school. She will always be in our hearts and a member of the St James Grade School Gang & Aquinas ‘71.
Karen Alberts (Almos) passed away Oct. 22, 2020 of cancer. There will not be an obituary or funeral service, per Karen's wishes.
